Preflight one public Google Merchant product feed before submitting it. Give a publicly fetchable XML (RSS or Atom), CSV, or TSV feed URL and it downloads the live artifact under an SSRF-guarded, size-capped fetch, parses every product up to a 5,000-item cap, and returns deterministic evidence: format, parsed product count, required and recommended attribute coverage, duplicate ids, GTIN checksum and identifier-rule findings, variant-group consistency, price and availability value validity, and a bounded live sample of declared product-link and image URLs (status, content type, and image dimensions). It reports only source-feed and sampled-URL facts against a dated profile of Google's public product data specification: it does not access Merchant Center, predict approval or ad performance, edit feeds, or audit general site health. Fetching and parsing a live feed can take up to 60 seconds.

Compare exactly two public Google Merchant product feeds under identical bounded checks to see which release has fewer machine-checkable problems. Give two publicly fetchable XML, CSV, or TSV feed URLs (production versus staging, old versus new, or two exporters) and it runs the same SSRF-guarded, size-capped preflight as product_feed_check on each, then reports side-by-side pass status, the product-count delta, added and removed ids within the parse cap, issue and attribute-coverage deltas, sampled-URL evidence, and a winner only when measured checks support one. Use product_feed_check for a single feed. It reports only source-feed and sampled-URL facts against a dated profile of Google's public product data specification, never Merchant Center acceptance or ad performance.
